To fulfill our commitment to our customers, Zhongshan Weifeng attended GULFOOD 2020 , one of the most important fair of the foodstuffs industry, 16-20 February, 2020 held in Dubai, UAE amid the sudden outbreak of Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia epidemic (COVID-19) in China. We are quite satisfied with the result of the fair that exceed our expectation. 

Since late January 2020, the Chinese government had been adopting more and more strict measures to contain spread of virus. The epidemic was under control, situation was improving. The representatives of the Company were all in perfect  health conditions and would continue to make sufficient protection just as other Chinese fellows. The Organizer also encourage Chinese exhibitor continue to attend the fair.  Therefore Zhongshan Weifeng decided to take part in GULFOOD 2020 as plan though some Chinese companies withdrew from the fair.

As expected , the Chinese pavilion was a bit quiet compare to previous shows and other halls at the beginning of the fair. Then we were pleased to see the the pavilion became comparatively crowded and busy.  We understand some visitors concerned about COVID-19 and the negative impacts on Chinese exports.  We would cordially explain to them what was happening in China. Actually more and more Production and business were resuming steadily in china right after the fair opened.  

In order to help Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises to pull through the difficulties caused by the epidemic outbreak,  the Chinese government is implementing various temporary stimulus, such as tax and rent deduction, deferred social security payments, ，employment encourage, favourable interest rate loans,etc.  Additional long term structured measures is on the way.  We acknowledge there would be some influence on our business but we are confident we can over come difficulties and back to normal before end of June 2020.
